What the heck are complex carbs you ask?
- slower digesting, keeps you full longer
- balance insulin levels and blood sugar
- found with other macronutrients, phytonutrients, and water
- stripped of nutrients
- stimulate appetite
- found with a lot of sodium, chemicals, preservatives, flavorings
YES! Veggies are carbs but I want you to consider vegetables as their own category because we want to add them to every meal possible without them counting as out carb.
