Yes… the answer to this can range from simple to insanely complex…… but I like simple! 😉 So, there are three main points to understand, when it comes to good nutrition. Watch the video or read ahead!
Eat The Right Amount Of Food
As kids, we are born with a natural sensation gauge of full and hungry.
Most of us are programmed to ignore those feelings and encouraged to “eat everything on our plate”…..
or we are forced to eat at certain times whether or not we are hungry.
Unless you want to mess around with weighing, measuring, counting calories…. I would try to get back in touch with your body’s natural gauge!
Once we reconnect our mind and body, this becomes second nature for us! Soooo much more accurate and easier than all the calculating 😉
Get A Good Range Of Nutrients
In order to get a range of nutrients we need to eat a variety of foods!
I know this is easier said than done, with limited time, limited money and picky eaters in the family…
we tend to fall into habits and make the same things often.
Personally, I know I don’t get enough variety in my diet. So I make sure to get a multivitamin in every day. This is a good habit to get started.
Give A Shit About The Quality Of Your Food
We all know it’s healthier to eat less processed and sugary foods so why don’t we do this?
The key to ALL of these “Good Nutrition” points is learning the skills it takes to create new habits!
Most of the time it’s not a lack of nutrition knowledge that holds us back…. it’s our mind and programming (current habits).
